Simple yet characterful Jug crafted by Fumihiro Toda in Yawarade technique. The wonderful texture is created through the application of white clay by hand, before transparent glaze is layered on top of it. The sand grain of the white clay creates scratches in places which results in the interesting and unique surface patterning and rustic quality.
This pitcher, restrained in both form and palette, is a timeless and wonderful addition to the home, with a wide variety of possible uses.
