We recently had the pleasure of visiting goldsmith Ram Rijal’s studio to acquire a new selection of his exquisite jewellery.
Ram’s work, simultaneously ancient and modern, carries a rare depth. Born in Nepal and now working from his London studio, his designs are subtly infused with the memory of watching craftsmen in the workshops of Kathmandu, where metal was heated, hammered, and transformed with patience and precision. That early experience remains the heartbeat of Ram’s practice.

Working primarily in 22K gold, Ram creates distinctive pieces defined by their intuitive balance between form and material. He often works with gemstones such as black diamonds, sapphires, moonstone, and tourmaline, stones that shape the design as much as the gold itself. Each piece carries a sense of presence, considered and enduring.

Ram’s pieces are displayed with effortless cohesion; each one distinct, yet harmonising beautifully when styled together. Their refined individuality lends to layering and stacking in a way that feels both intuitive and intentional. These are pieces that transition effortlessly between everyday wear and more considered occasions.

Ram’s jewellery is connected to material, memory, and place. We’re pleased to share this new collection with you, and the news that a special collaboration is to come… we look forward to sharing more in due course.
