Description
A smaller sized, tactile vessel hand-built using pinch and coil techniques. The process of creating such vessels is physical, requiring the artist to use their whole body to form its structure. Harrison's focus is on functional ceramics that embrace the slow and imperfect process of hand-building. She showcases the physicality of hand-built ceramics with haptic marks and traces of touch. The vessel is made from neutral white stoneware with iron flecks and complemented by soft markings and a washy satin glaze.
