RAM RIJAL
Ram Rijal is a self-taught jeweller, born in Nepal and now based in London. His early experiences observing metalworkers in Kathmandu continue to inform his approach to jewellery, where process and material take precedence.
Working primarily in 22K gold, Ram lets the characteristics of each stone—such as black diamonds, sapphires, moonstone, or tourmaline—guide the form of his pieces. He values precision, balance, and the integrity of the materials he works with.
Each design is made by hand in his studio and reflects a clear, intentional approach to craft. The result is jewellery that can be worn every day, yet remain distinctive.
Ram’s work has been exhibited in respected galleries and featured in various publications. His jewellery reflects an ongoing dialogue between memory, material, and the act of making.
