Porcelain cup, hand thrown by Korean ceramicist Jae Jun Lee, with delicate signature emboss detail. Working with porcelain with zirconium silicate and polishing parts of the work without a glaze, Jae Jun creates a distinction between the two whites, highlighting the well-balanced forms and their perfect finishes.
About the Artist:
Jae Jun Lee first exhibited in London at the Saatchi Gallery ‘Collect’ exhibition in 2013 and has been invited back to ‘Collect’ every year since. Widely exhibited since 2013 in Seoul, Taipei, Munich, and London including ‘Ceramic Art London’ at Central Saint Martins.
