This sublime rose gold penny bangle displays Seaton's passion for quality craftsmanship. Creating her pieces through traditional jewellery techniques, Seaton's tactile treasures are designed with longevity at the forefront and their simplicity and refinement ensure their timelessness. Seaton prioritises shape and aims for each piece to be balanced; in turn informing her selection and combination of precious metals and stones. She works with metals that are richly coloured and give a sense of weight, and stones that hold light. The association of jewellery with romance, commitment and love appeals to Seaton, who enjoys working on a small and intimate scale.
About the Artist
Kerry Seaton, based between London and East Sussex, undertook The Goldsmiths’ Company apprenticeship for five years before completing an MA in Goldsmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art.
