Christiane Perrochon

Obsessed with colour and possessed with a sixth sense for discovering and developing hues that have rarely, if ever, been seen in stoneware, Christiane has been carrying out her research with high-temperature ceramic glazes for over forty years. Her vases' pure somber forms are brought to life with the glazes that give each piece its unrepeatable uniqueness. Each object possesses its own life, intrinsic to its form and the quality of the glaze, to its shadows, and to its matt or shiny finish.

Christiane Perrochon lives in the heart of the Tuscan countryside on a hilltop surrounded by woods of oak trees and groves of ancient olive trees.
