A selection of fine, hand-rolled domestic ware plates. Made from white earthenware clay, a soft palette, opaque vellum or transparent glaze over coloured slips and underglazes. Each piece is unique, whether in form or detail. The plates would make any tea party a delight or as wall display.
Fliff Carr has been making ceramics in her own studio for the last 16 years. The subtle shades and intricate details of vintage fabrics, the textures of old lace as well as ‘found objects’ from the banks of the Thames strongly inspire her.
