Presence in Miniature
3rd - 15th February
Featured Artists: Nancy Fuller, Takehito Ichikawa, Takada Kae, Asaho Kamiya, Takahashi McGil, Masako Nakagami and Aki Sakaida
'Presence in Miniature' celebrates the quiet intensity of small-scale artworks, pieces that don’t demand attention through size, but invite it through intimacy, intricacy, and presence.
Featuring contemporary artists working in glass, wood and ceramics, the exhibition gathers works that reward close looking. These are objects that pull the viewer in, offering moments of stillness, wonder, and detail that might otherwise be missed.
There is a particular kind of strength in the small, a sense of care, clarity, and intention. In a time when bigger often seems to mean better, these artists remind us that small can be bold, subtle can be powerful, and scale need not define significance.
